Project Description
This project investigated the current state of the art of augmented reality development tools. The goal was to determine the feasibility of developing immersive museum exhibits and site-specific art intallations, particularly for artists, curators, students, and other non-technical cultural producers. Additionally, I conducted interviews with various educators, AR practitioners, and museum staff to research best practices and nurture relationships for potential future collaboration.
Highlight of your experience
Having the opportunity to step back from the day-to-day business of teaching, and spend a term having conversations, dreaming, and planting seeds for future research and teaching projects was incredibly restorative and inspiring.
