Lorraine Higgins, Teaching Professor, The Global School
2021-2022
Project Description
The goal of this project was to help faculty involved in Interactive Qualifying Projects (IQP) projects to share resources and expand their repertoire of advising strategies. Conferring with faculty from the Global School (DIGS), I drafted a set of advisor expectations and learning objectives for ID2050, he research design and methods course students complete as preparation for their global project, Pre-Qualifying Project Meetings (PQP) and IQP, creating a searchable and updateable archive of teaching and advising materials by topic. These include background readings, links to online resources, and handouts for students.
