The Global Lab is a collaboratory space for students, faculty, staff, visiting scholars, postdocs, non-governmental organizations (NGOs)-in-residence, artists-in-residence, and organizational leaders to interact, imagine, and bring ideas to life using creative collaboration and state-of-the-art media studios.
ACTION RESEARCH FOR A BETTER WORLD
We are academics and scholar-practitioners devoted to collective action research and impactful partnerships that cut across sectors and lead to positive social change and environmental restoration. We work with constellations of partners from government, non-profit, social movements, community groups and individuals, private firms and academics. Project goals are determined collaboratively and are driven by the goals of our partners ‘on the ground’ and most close to the action.
Global networks
WPI’s network of 50 unique project-based learning sites around the world provides a robust platform for collaboration and engagement. We are curious about what we can learn about important global challenges as they manifest in local realities, and how the innovations in one place may seed ideas that work in other places.
